It's going to be probably our toughest game this season as they are a very good team.......but so are we and they are not invincible. They will be well up for it, I'm just hoping we are are as well, but we have a massive part to play in making the stadium as hostile as possible, get on the refs back and put pressure on them. This is our chance to really put a spanner in their title chances.

I was speaking to a Tottenham fan at work who is going and he was shitting it, saying he's heard from some of their fans that it's all going to kick off so will be keeping his head down and going straight to the ground. Doesn't sound like them.

I will be disappointed if we don't come out going hell-for-leather. We can look to counter, and I certainly don't want us to be reckless. Every ball needs to be contested. Every second chance needs to be a battle. Everything needs to be left on the pitch so that even if we lose, spurs will have taken a battering.

Last november was the biggest disappointment of Slav's tenure, albeit understandable with injuries, but we cannot have a repeat. We cannot come out looking to soak up pressure.

Re: No Alli or Dembele for Spurs on Wednesday ?!
Alli rumoured injured? Probably bollocks as played 90mins. They have to play their best being so close to the top. Mind games? I can't stand that round faced nob pucettito or whatever.

If they beat us they have a good chance as Leicester's best player by a country mile Kunte has done a hamstring and will miss the next two at least.

They move it around much quicker than us, we need to step up a gear from the off if we are to compete.

If Andy Carroll starts, there's no way he'll still be on the pitch with 5 mins to go

I would rather any team won the league rather than these cunts but i think that if they beat us and Arsenal they'll have it sown up

Re: No Alli or Dembele for Spurs on Wednesday ?!
Spurs had 34 shots vs Swansea with 14 on target
They should have beaten Palace as well

Sven Roeder 6:47 Mon Feb 29
Re: No Alli or Dembele for Spurs on Wednesday ?!
They are the form team in the league at the moment and we have to rise to the occasion
That said the pressure is all on them.

I think they are favourites and if they win against us and Arsenal they will have one hand on it.

I'M NOT SURE PEOPLE REALISE HOW SERIOUS THIS POTENTIAL CATASTROPHE IS

Not if Spurs play like they did against Palace and Swansea we won't.

Knicker wetters on here tch.....

One thing's for certain - if we play like we did on Saturday, we're gonna get fucked.

Re: No Alli or Dembele for Spurs on Wednesday ?!
If we play as well as we can, then we've every chance of winning.

Likewise, they know they'll have to play well to beat us, regardless of their form.

This game will probably suit us a bit more then most home games, where the oppo just show up to crowd their half, not give us any space and hit us on the break. They'll come to play and it'll be a more open affair. Payet and Lanzini will have more space to conjour up a bit of magic, and Antonio, Moses (who I am sure will play some part) and whoever is up front will have space to run into. We have to make sure we don't let them boss possession and drop too deep.

I hear what you're saying...I just dont think I could cope with the 'media meltdown' if Whingerpool won it again.

Re: No Alli or Dembele for Spurs on Wednesday ?!
I would have to disagree.

I would rather any team win the league other than spurs.
